Try the comfy queen size in our cabin bed-nook with views across the fields, or climb the cute handcrafted ladder up to the mezzanine, each with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedlinen and the comfiest mattresses, along with plumped pillows.

You’ll be sleeping like a log after all that fresh air and nature.

The cabin is handcrafted by Life Space Cabins with every detail thought through. With a cosy log burner, bespoke carpentry and hand woven recyled blankets from local company Weaver Green you’ll fall in love with cabin life.

The small but beautifully formed kitchen is well equipped whilst the bathroom has a generous walk-in shower with Land & Water toiletries giving you a hotel experience in a nature.

The cabin is equipped with everything you need for a simple self-catering stay, including a mini air-fryer oven, induction hob and small fridge freezer.

To help you settle in, we’ll also provide tea, coffee and milk for your arrival — a little treat from us so you can put the kettle on and enjoy a cuppa as soon as you arrive

Every guest is welcomed with a thoughtful welcome pack, filled with everything you need to settle in, switch off and get straight into holiday mode.

You’ll find logs for the wood burner and outdoor bath tub so all you have to do is strike the match and settle in, we will do the rest.

We also offer breakfast hampers, BBQ hamper or a cheese and wine hamper all sourced from local suppliers and growers.

There is so much to do from your doorstep, exploring The Flete Estates private drives, our 3 sandy beaches to explore and have a paddle or reach the South West Coastal path from Mothecombe beach.

There’s plenty to explore

  • Walks along the river Erme estuary

    Follow the river erme erstuary along the states private drives and beutiful woodland, head to Holbeton village and loop back to the cabins,

  • Explore The Flete Estate

    There are lots of things to do and explore on the estate, without having to get back in the car. For more ideas and activities have a look through our welcome folder.

  • Paddle board up the Erme estuary

    Take the paddleboards up the river Erme estuary view the estate from a different perspective. There are two paddleboards available to hire per cabin.

  • Visit Mothecombe Gardens

    Explore Mothecombe Garden at your leisure during your stay, for guests only.

  • Mothecombe beach house

    Hire Mothecombe beach house for the day for a unique experience. Light the fire, boil the kettle and watch the waves coming in.

  • Gather around the fire pit

    Gather around the fire pit

    Cook dinner over the fire grill, then flip it over to a fire pit and enjoy a cosy evening around the flames.

Your own little spa retreat

Enjoy a relaxing soak in the wood-fired hot tub, surrounded by nature. If you’re feeling brave, why not turn it into your own hot-and-cold experience by using the tub as a plunge pool? Then warm up refreshing rinse under the hot outdoor shower, the perfect way to unwind after a swim or a day exploring the estate.

Paddleboard Hire

Did you know that when you book one of our cabins, we’ll leave two complimentary paddleboards for you to enjoy throughout your stay?

It’s the perfect way to explore the River Erme Estuary from a completely different perspective. Paddle along the water, take in the beautiful scenery and see the estate from the estuary — or simply enjoy a peaceful paddle and make the most of being outdoors.

Each paddleboard comes with a paddle and life jacket, so everything you need for a little adventure on the water is ready and waiting for you

Dog Friendly

Dogs are very welcome at Rusty Sheds, with plenty of space to explore together. With miles of beautiful estate walks right on your doorstep and the beach just a short stroll away, there are endless opportunities for adventures with your four-legged friend.
